Ribble Pro Cycling - The National Championships
The last week of June is a particularly busy one for the UK racing scene. Taking place in Norfolk is the 'British Festival of Cycling'. Set over 4 days, this festival promises a number of events for riders of all ages and experience. This includes a sportive over the exact same course as that used by the elite mens race.
The headline acts are undoubtedly the National Time Trial and Road Championships. These will attract the cream of British cycling and will also no doubt include a number of World Tour riders. Our very own Ribble Pro Cycling Team will be looking to build upon a very positive start to the season and will hope to place well in both events.
National Time Trial Championships
The TT takes place on Thursday the 27th June and consists of a 1.5 lap circuit of rural Norfolk. The 25.9 mile circuit features a start/finish line on the Royal Sandringham Estate. Fresh from winning the National Team Time Trial title, Ribble Pro Cycling will be represented by the same victorious squad of Dan Bigham, John Archibald and Si Wilson.
This talented trio will compete upon the Ribble Ultra TT in a custom colour Glitter Blue finish. Custom colour is available on the Ultra TT for an extra £299, the Team Edition is available for an extra £499. Click on the link below to access the bikes and custom colour configurator. The configurator allows you to personalise the main frame colour, frame accents, decals and even apply a gradient (fade) at various angles. It has been estimated that across the full range of bikes there are 1 billion custom colour options!!

Dan Bigham's Customised Ultra TTR
In the video below Dan takes you through the Ribble Ultra TT that the team will compete upon during the TT. Dan is an aerodynamics specialist so is always looking for that perfect set up. You will therefore see that he has made some major personalised adjustments to achieve the most aero-efficient bike.
He also does a great job of explaining the difference between the Ultra TTR in the video and the Ultra TT. In a nutshell the forks are different, the TTR version uses the Ultra Tri forks which have a wider profile but are NOT UCI legal. So, for UCI events he must use the narrower profile TT forks. But in non-UCI events he is free to use his preferred Ultra Tri forks, which offer a slight aero performance advantage.

National Road Championship
The road race starts in Norwich City Centre before commencing a 125.2 mile circuit of rural North Norfolk, before finishing back in the City Centre. Ribble Pro Cycling will field a strong team and hope to upset some of the World Tour riders who will be vying for the coveted National Champs stripes.
The Team will compete upon their Ribble Endurance SL R Series bikes. These are finished in a custom colour Ribble Pro Cycling Glitter Blue finish. This paint scheme positively dazzles in sunlight as you can see from the image below! You can order a team bike through our website for £5999 (see link below). If you would like to order another model of Ribble bike with the team edition finish it can be arranged and costs £499 extra.

A customised team bike, they have replaced the Sram Red chainset with a Quarc power meter and Zipp wheels with Walker Brothers wheels.
Gruff Lewis's Team Bike
In the video below, the newly crowned Welsh National Road Champion Gruff Lewis takes you through his team bike. The only amendments from the standard team edition for sale on the website are the wheels and chainset. They use their wheel sponsors Walker Brothers wheels and a quarc Power Meter.
